Omega Sigma Delta Initiatives & Programming
Why these stances as a Marching Band Auxiliary Fraternity?
The answer is simple. We are Greek.
For a long time Fraternal & Sororal life has lost the true essence of what it means to be in a chosen communal society that aims to uplift, change for the better, display & assign property accountabilities.
When Omega Sigma Delta was founded by our 3 Diamonds; they unanimously agreed that OSD would bring greek life back to its roots of having a focus on societal progression. particularly through the lense of Queer, Black creatives within the realm of marching band auxiliary dance forms.
This is why OSD’s programming can seem very political. Because our very founding and existence is inherently political.

Diamonds Against Rape and Sexual Assault Initiative, known as DARSAI, is a core initiative of Omega Sigma Delta Auxiliary Fraternity, Inc. and is embedded within our mission and constitutional framework. DARSAI exists to actively defend, support, and advocate for survivors who have experienced rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, and related forms of abuse.
Through DARSAI, we commit to creating spaces that center survivor dignity, safety, and healing. Our work focuses on providing education, resources, and programming that help survivors understand their experiences, reclaim agency, and move forward without shame. We are equally committed to challenging and dismantling the stigma that survivors often face after encountering abuse.
A key component of this initiative is our S A F E T N E T programming, also known as Safety Net. These events provide education on the many forms of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence, how to recognize warning signs, how to intervene and reduce harm, and how to support oneself or others in the aftermath of abuse. Safety Net programming emphasizes practical awareness, community accountability, and compassionate response.
DARSAI reflects our unwavering stance that violence and exploitation have no place in our communities. We remain steadfast in our responsibility to protect survivors, educate our communities, and foster environments where healing, understanding, and collective care are not only encouraged but actively practiced.

an initiative dedicated to ascertaining, researching, documenting, and publishing the history of fraternal and Greek-letter organizations. The initiative places particular focus on the historical and cultural intersections between Black marching band auxiliary traditions and Greek/fraternity life.
Through archival research, oral histories, documentation, and publication, ORIGIN works to preserve narratives, trace lineages of influence, and highlight the shared cultural spaces where auxiliary performance and fraternal traditions have historically met. The initiative serves as a resource for understanding the development, connections, and cultural impact of these communities.

The One Auxiliary One Movement Initiative is a program focused on uniting Auxiliary dancers of all skill sets and experience levels in one place. Regardless of discipline (majorette, HBCU Dance, flag/color guard, drum major), the initiative centers the shared culture, performance tradition, and creative expression that connect Auxiliary artists.
As an expansion of GREATER Auxiliary, the initiative aims to strengthen community, increase collaboration, and create broader visibility for Auxiliary performers. By bringing dancers together across styles and backgrounds, One Auxiliary One Movement supports growth, connection, and continued development within the Auxiliary performance community
